For fleets of 5–50 trucks

Every empty seat
is a truck note
with no revenue.

RoadCrew fills seats for Midwest fleets that are too small to justify a full-time recruiter and too busy to chase leads that ghost. Pre-screened, orientation-ready drivers. No retainer to find out if we're any good.

What an empty seat
actually costs you

Most fleet owners know they're losing money on parked trucks. Very few have put a number on it. Drag the sliders to match your operation.

MIThe honest version

You've been burned
by a recruiter before

Everyone in this business has. Here's what usually goes wrong, and what we do differently.

What normally happens
  • Leads come in, nobody calls them for six hours, they've already taken another job.
  • You get sent eight applicants. Six don't have the experience. Two ghost orientation.
  • Ad spend climbs every quarter and nobody can tell you the cost per hire.
  • Your in-house recruiter quits and the pipeline dies with them.
  • You're paying a retainer to an agency that hasn't seated anyone in two months.
  • The recruiter has never sat in a truck and can't answer a driver's real questions.
What we do instead
  • Every applicant is contacted within 60 seconds, day or night. That one thing wins more drivers than anything else.
  • We send fewer, better. Experience, endorsements, MVR self-disclosure and home-time fit are confirmed before you hear a name.
  • You get a weekly number: applicants, contacts, interviews, seats filled, cost per seat.
  • The pipeline is a system, not a person. It doesn't quit and it doesn't take vacation.
  • Start with no retainer. Prove it on a seat or two first, then decide.
  • We're in Chicago, we work these lanes, and we speak to drivers like people who've done the job.
MIWhat we handle

The whole front end
of your hiring

You keep the hiring decision, the background check and the DOT file. We take everything that happens before that — the part that eats your week.

Advertising

We build and pay for the campaigns. Facebook, Instagram and driver communities where your candidates actually are.

Screening

Experience, endorsements, accident and MVR self-disclosure, home-time needs, start availability — against your standards.

Scheduling

Interviews and orientation booked straight into your calendar, with reminders and no-show follow-up.

Weekly reporting

Applicants, contacts, interviews, seats filled and cost per seat. The numbers your old recruiter never gave you.

Compliance-first intake

Every applicant gives documented, timestamped TCPA consent before we ever text them. You get a copy with each candidate.

Driver re-engagement

Drivers who weren't right today go into a nurture track. When your next seat opens, the bench is already warm.

MIHow it works

No retainer to find out
if we're any good

01

We learn your seat

One call. Lanes, equipment, pay package, home time, hiring standards, and the deal-breakers. We'd rather turn down a fleet than send drivers somewhere they'll quit.

02

We run the funnel

Our campaigns, our ad spend, our screening. You see candidates only after they've cleared your criteria and confirmed they want the run.

03

You seat the driver

You interview, you decide, you run the background and the DOT file. We handle scheduling and stay on the driver through orientation so they actually show.

MIStraight answers

Questions carriers ask

What does it cost?
It depends on the position, the market and how hard the seat is to fill — a local home-daily seat and a hazmat OTR seat are not the same job. We'll quote you a flat number per seated driver on the first call, in writing, before you commit to anything. No retainer required to start.
When do I pay?
When a driver is seated and dispatched — not when you get a lead, not when someone applies. We carry the advertising cost. That's deliberate: it puts the risk on us to send you people who actually show up.
What if the driver quits in two weeks?
We'll agree a replacement window in writing before we start. Ask about it on the first call and get the answer in the agreement — with us or with anyone else you're considering.
Do you do the background check and DOT file?
No, and you should be careful with anyone who says they will. The hiring decision, the MVR pull, the PSP and the DOT qualification file stay with you as the employer. We source, screen against your stated criteria, and hand off. That boundary keeps you clean under FCRA.
Are you going to poach my current drivers?
No. Your drivers are off-limits for as long as we work together and after. It goes in the agreement in writing.
How is the TCPA consent handled?
Every driver opts in on our application form with explicit written consent language, captured with a timestamp. You receive a PDF record of that consent with each candidate. If you're recruiting drivers without documented consent, get advice — the statutory damages run $500 to $1,500 per message.
Can you work alongside my in-house recruiter?
Yes, and that's often the best setup. We take the top of the funnel — advertising, instant response, first screening — and hand qualified drivers to your person to close. They stop spending their day dialing dead leads.
